India Vision Institute (IVI) is an independent not-for-profit Indian registered trust established in 2012. For the prevention of avoidable blindness, IVI’s team of experienced and qualified optometrists works to provide timely intervention in disadvantaged communities and remote areas. To advance the primary eye care sector, IVI works in awareness generation, capacity building (education), leadership development and advocacy. IVI’s mission is to Augment the Primary Eye Care Capacity of India. The dedicated Professional Development and Research team at IVI has achieved significant milestones, including over 400 Seminars & Capacity building workshops, conducting 8 Young Leadership Programs, organizing 8 Walk in the Dark Campaigns, and hosting over 14 National and International Conferences. These efforts have collectively benefited over 12,000 optometry students, educators, practitioners, and researchers. The team also works towards strengthening the monitoring and evaluation of in-house CSR activities and compliance of spectacles.
